Avocado love

I imagine you
digging in the earth
appreciating the sun and shade
watching the worms writhe
shakespearian plays
your thoughts and sweat soak in the ground
sure to nurture the sweetest flowers

My cigarette

Nothing is fun
nothing is fun
Light my cigarette
with a gun

Nothing is fun
nothing is fun
Light my cigarette
with the sun

And you can't cry any tears
when you don't have any fears

Nothing is fun
nothing is fun
share my cigarette
with anyone

Today

I'm so glad to have you close
It's so much better than your ghost
will ever be when you are gone
and days grow cold and nights so long

but those bad days have yet to come
to drag my love off to the sun
so today I'll adore you smile
and hope to hold your hand a while

Untitled

Standing on the side on my ledge
holding on to a little green hedge
all my life appears before me in a blinding flash
from the love that I give to the heads that I smash
but if I fell I probably wouldn't die
because my ledge is only one foot high
